About the Business
Nailsea Design and Build was the brainwave of local builder Gary Turnell. Gary has been in the construction industry for 23 years. On leaving school he took up an apprenticeship with a Bristol based construction company called Wilkins & Coventry who were part of EBC Group. On completion of a 5 year apprenticeship in carpentry and joinery, Gary decided to leave the small local company and went out to work for a selection of construction companies such as KIER Construction, David Wilson Homes, Midas Construction and Bryant Homes, This has given Gary a huge knowledge of how the construction industry works. Electrician : Alistair ( Big Al ) 23 Years experience as a domestic and commercial electrician means that there is nothing that this sparky can't do. He is our NICEIC Member of the team. Plasterer : Gary ( The Fish ) 27 years in the business and still going strong. Plumber : Scott ( Iron Man ) 8 years as a plumbing and heating engineer and is our GAS SAFE member of the team.
